Eros Ramazzotti “Ali e Radici” – 15th December – Mandela Forum

October 13, 2009 by

On Tuesday 15th December at 9 pm Eros Ramazzotti will be finally on tour in Florence, at the Nelson Mandela Forum!A new album “Ali e Radici” composed by 11 new songs. It has a double musical view: besides Ramazzotti and Guidetti there is another genius of electronic: Michele Canova Lorfida. Comparing to the previous works, this one is much more concentrated on social topics like: the incommunicability among people, violence on the mankind and the rest of the nature. The lyrics reflect all the Ramazzotti walk of life, and also his artistic career.  As a whole, the album Ali e Radici has international sounds, which range from the emphatic arches of “Parla con Me” to the overwhelming ones of “Appunti e Note”. The electronic adrenalin of “Non Possiamo Chiudere gli Occhi”, the six octave ballad “Il cammino” and the solemn R&B of “Controvento”, the rock accents of “Bucaneve”, “Ali e Radici” and of the lilting piano pop of “Affetti Personali”, the vigorous “Nessuno Escluso” and the classic pop of “Come Gioielli”.

Here are the ticket costs:

Hamlet – 12th – 15th November 2009 – Teatro Verdi

October 5, 2009 by

Would you like to spend a special moment? From Thursday 12th November to Sunday 15th November you can see a very magic show at Teatro Verdi in Florence: Hamlet!

Staging Hamlet is an attempt to explain, using strong words as Shakespeare used to, something that concerns all of us and the time we are living in, our time. Powerness and weakness, impulsiveness and reasonableness, sensitiveness and reflection: in the tragic history of Hamlet everything is extreme. The show is full of idealism and producers highlight both the personal drama and the conflict and ambitions of a young contemporary man, who has to test  the corruptivity of humans life. This tragedy  also underlines the theme of the innate conflict between ouster fathers and their sons. Fathers cannot accept the transition, and they impose their children an old society. Whereas, the new generation tries not to let them overwhelm by huge expectation and unattainable ambitions. Through Hamlet, the actor Alessandro Preziosi wants to talk about the contemporary time in order to take the classic theatre and art back to their fundamental role: they are the mirror in the world we are living. Hamlet is an intellectual in the dumps, he becomes current, because nowadays that kind of literary man loses power, and he is not able to “feel” and to cause a reaction to his spectators. Comparing the more classic versions, this new set intends to offer a different reading.  This show is a way to find a politic and metaphorical sense in the Shakespeare plot.

Show hours:

12th – 13th  - 14th  November : 8.45 pm

15th November: 4.45 pm.

Via Ghibellina, 99/R 50122 Firenze
